Summary:
Orlando After-School All-Stars (ASAS) recently received a five-year 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grant from the State of Florida, Department of Education, to fund academic support and enrichment services, year round, for students attending the ASAS program at Carver, Memorial, Lee and Jackson Middle Schools.
The grant helps fund administrative and operations positions, including that of Bobby Belton, After-School All-Stars Project Coordinator - Contract, who will be responsible for administrative and operational oversight of the program at Carver and Memorial Middle Schools. By approving the attached contract, the City will be able to meet all administrative and operational requirements of the 21st CCLC grant for the period August 10, 2015 through July 31, 2017 at these two schools.
All costs of this contract will be reimbursed to the City of Orlando by After-School All-Stars, using funds received via a FL Department of Education 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant. |
