Amendment to Contract with Andy Frain Services, Inc., for Peer Group Security Services at Orlando Venues Facilities, RFP10-0318.
Summary:
The contract with Andy Frain Services, Inc., for Peer Group Security Services at Orlando Venues expires on August 31, 2015.  Orlando Venues is requesting approval to extend the current contract for an additional ten (10) month period.  

The sports season starts each year in October and runs through June. The contract extension will align the new contract award to the off-peak season which will be beneficial to minimize any disruption of service, allow for the proper amount of training and transitioning to a possible new contractor.

To maintain the highest level of service, Orlando Venues is requesting to extend the current contract with Andy Frain Services, Inc. to June 30, 2016.  The estimated expenditure of the extension is $1,300,000.00.

Andy Frain Services, Inc. will continue with the current combined 30% M/WBE Participation Plan during the extension period.

Recommended Action:
Approval and authorization for the Chief Procurement Officer to negotiate and execute a contract amendment with Andy Frain Services, as indicated above. The final negotiated contract amendment will be subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
