The Procurement and Contracts Division and the Fire Department have evaluated this bid and recommend award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, Florida Discount Drugs dba Taylor’s Pharmacy, Winter Park, FL, for the purchase of EMS Pharmaceuticals. 

The initial contract term is three (3) years with an option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms.  This is an indefinite quantity contract.  Actual expenditures will vary as usage will be on an as-needed basis at the established unit prices and available funding.  Based on prior usage reports and information provided by the primary user, the estimated annual expenditure is $118,885.95.

No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity.

Recommended Action:

Approval of award to Florida Discount Drugs dba Taylor’s Pharmacy and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to enter into an agreement and subsequent renewals with Florida Discount Drugs dba Taylor’s Pharmacy as indicated above in the estimated annual amount of $118,885.95, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
