Summary:
The Worksharing Agreement between the Office of Community Affairs and Human Relations (OCA&HR), a Fair Employment Practice Agency (FEPA), and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) sets "common jurisdiction and goals of the two agencies." Both agencies "agree to the trerms of the agreement, which is designed to provide individuals with an efficient procedure for obtaining redress for their grievances under appropriate state, local and federal laws."
The attached contract issued to the City of Orlando through the Office of Community Affairs and Human Relations by the EEOC is based on the attached 2014 Worksharing Agreement, which was approved by City Council on October 21, 2013. The contract is for 25 case closures and 145 intakes. EEOC will review the contracted numbers at the end of August 2015, and depending on the city's inventory of cases and intake rates at that time, the number of case closures and intakes may be modified. |
