This project will consist of the construction of an odor control unit at Lift Station 143 located on Millenia Boulevard and Conservatory Lane. The new odor control unit will be a skid mounted, modular style biofilter. The project also includes the addition of an 8-foot high block wall on the northern, eastern, and western property line to provide a visual and additional odor barrier to the adjacent businesses. A portion of the existing block wall and fencing will be removed in order to accommodate the new wall construction. The existing wetwell will be rehabilitated and a corrosion protection system consisting of wetwell coating will be installed.
The Procurement and Contracts Division and Public Works Department have evaluated this bid and recommend award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, TLC Diversified of Palmetto, Florida, for the Lift Station 143 Odor Control project in the amount of $267,000.00.
The bids were reviewed by the M/WBE office for compliance with the program. TLC Diversified M/WBE Participation Plan for this contract is as follows:

Recommended Action:
Approval of award to TLC Diversified, Inc., and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to enter into an agreement with TLC Diversified, Inc., as indicated above in the amount of $267,000.00 subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
