Ordinance No. 2015-21 annexing property located at 1860 Oglesby Ave, which is west of Clay Street, east of Formosa Ave and south of Oglesby Ave (1860 Oglesby). (Economic Development)

Summary:

The attached ordinance will annex property located at 1860 Oglesby Ave, which is west of Clay Street, east of Formosa Ave and south of Oglesby Ave, approximately 0.3234 acres (1860 Oglesby).  The property is currently developed with a single family house and is being annexed for future development of two residential duplexes.

The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the annexation (ANX2015-00002), the GMP amendment to assign Residential Low Intensity future land use designation (GMP2015-00003) and the associated zoning of R-2A (ZON2015-00002) on March 17, 2015. 

The first reading of this ordinance was held on June 15, 2015.

Recommended Action:

Adopt the attached Ordinance 2015-21 and authorize the Major and City Clerk or Major Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City upon final review and approval by the City Attorney.
