The project will include demolition of the existing pumping system and replacement of the Wetlands PS pumps, discharge piping, new electrical building, new electrical power and control system systems, improvements to the ERRWDS/Wetlands transmission system interconnect, aluminum covers on various post treatment basins, relocation of a submersible pump located in Post Aeration basin, demolition of approximately 325 LF of above ground ductile iron miscellaneous site work, concrete pad improvements, piping and appurtenances.
The Procurement and Contracts Division and Public Works Department have evaluated these bids and recommend award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, Wharton-Smith Inc. of Sanford, Florida, for the Iron Bridge Regional Water Reclamation Facility Wetlands Pump Station Improvements Project in the amount of $6,363,730.00.
