The PKZ Academic Coordinator (part time/contract) is responsible for developing, coordinating and overseeing all PKZ services that support the academic success of Parramore youth.  The position, approved by the Orlando City Council as part of a budget revision request at the April 28, 2014 City Council meeting, has remained vacant until this time.

After an exhaustive review of applicants, FPR has selected Ms. Felice McClary for the position and is seeking approval of a contract with Ms. McClary through the end of the current fiscal year.

With a Bachelors Degree from Hofstra University, Ms. McClary brings eight (8) years of relevant managerial, leadership and educational experience to the position, including serving most recently as Regional Director of the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council and, prior to that, three (3) years as Director of Academic Enrichment Programs for Make the Grade Foundation in New York City.  More details regarding Ms. McClary's resume can be found in her resume, attached to this agenda item.
