Summary:
In 2010, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) informed OUC it was engaging in an expansion project for Interstate 4 (I-4). This expansion would result in the need to condemn certain frontage property along I-4 associated with the Gardenia facility. Through negotiations, FDOT has agreed to pay the amount of $825,995 to compensate for three parcels of land, consisting of parcel 529.1R Part A and Part B as well as Parcel 808.A, and the reimbursement of certain fees and costs for OUC’s experts and attorneys. As titleholder to the property being condemned, the City will need to adopt Resolutions for the transfer of the property and approve and execute the attached Deed and Perpetual Easement for conveyance of the land. |
