| | | | | | | | | Subject: | Condemnation Sale of City/OUC Parcels to FDOT Interstate 4 Expansion - Gardenia Frontage Parcels 529.1R Part A, 529.1R Part B and 808.A | | Summary: | In 2010, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) informed OUC it was engaging in an expansion project for Interstate 4 (I-4). This expansion would result in the need to condemn certain frontage property along I-4 associated with the Gardenia facility. Through negotiations, FDOT has agreed to pay the amount of $825,995 to compensate for three parcels of land, consisting of parcel 529.1R Part A and Part B as well as Parcel 808.A, and the reimbursement of certain fees and costs for OUC’s experts and attorneys.
