Summary:
The Fleet Management Division and Solid Waste Management Division are requesting to utilize Florida Sheriff's Association Contract #14-12-0904 with Kenworth of Central Florida, of Orlando, Florida, for the purchase of two (2) 2015 Kenworth T880 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) cab and chassis trucks with stand-up control grapple/roll-off bodies, at a total cost of $800,036.00.
These CNG powered trucks will replace conventional trucks currently in service, which are scheduled for replacement, furthering the City's Sustainability Initiative.
No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity. |

Recommended Action:
Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize Florida Sheriff's Association Contract #14-12-0904 and issue a Purchase Order to Kenworth of Central Florida, as indicated above, in the amount of $800,036.00. |
