Subject:Application FY 2015 Body-Worn Camera Pilot Implementation Program Grant.
Summary:

OPD will apply for the 2015 Body-Worn Camera Pilot Implementation Program Grant. OPD will request $600,000.00 to implement this Body-Worn Camera Program. The funding will pay for approximately 400 body-worn cameras. There is a 50% match requirement (in-kind or cash). 

 

Fiscal and Efficiency Data:Fiscal Impact Statement to be supplied upon grant award.
Recommended Action:Approval of the Application by City Council for 2015 Body-Worn Camera Pilot Implementation Program Grant, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office and the Grant's Development Division
