Memorandum Of Understanding between Orlando Office of Emergency Management and UCF Office of Emergency Management

Summary:
The City of Orlando, through its Emergency Operations Center (EOC), will provide coordination of emergency response and mutual support to other Office of Emergency Management Operations, within our jurisdiction. 

The purpose of this agreement is to set forth, with the understanding by which the City of Orlando's Emergency Operations Center (herein referred to as COO EOC) will extend the COO EOC to the University of Central Florida's OEM in the event of an emergency that requires 'Continuity of Operations' (COOP) activation and relocation for up to fifteen (15) days; unless mutually agreed upon. The time-frame may be extended for an additional fifteen days period, by mutual agreement of the parties.

Recommended Action:
Approving the Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Central Florida's Office of Emergency Management and the City of Orlando's Emergency Operations Center for the utilization of the City's Emergency Operations Center in the event of a Continuity of Operation relocation. 

Appprove the MOU between Orlando OEM and UCF OEM and authorize execution by the signing of Mayor and Orlando City Clerk.
