Summary:
The changes to the Orlando City Code set forth in the attached ordinance are part of an overall revision of the City Code to identify sections that have become obsolete, are unnecessarily duplicative of federal or state law, or which need modifications to better reflect current practices and technologies.
The attached ordinance amends Code Chapter 2, Articles II, V, VIII, IX, X, XII, XIV, XV and XVIII, deletes Article XXXIII, "Naval Training Center/Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Board" and Sections 2.27 and 2.107, clarifying duties and responsibilities of officials and board members and deleting sections that have become obsolete. |

Recommended Action:
Adoption of the attached ordinance number 2015-23 and authorization for the Mayor and City Clerk or Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute the same on behalf of the City upon adoption and review by the City Attorney's Office. |
