The Transportation Engineering Division is requesting to utilize FDOT District Five Contract #BDU98 with Advanced Cabling Solutions, Inc. of Casselberry, Florida for the purchase of Fiber Optic Cable and Installation & Maintenance Services. 

The current contract term is effective through September 30, 2015 and there is the option to renew for three (3) additional years.  This is an indefinite quantity contract. Actual expenditures will vary as usage will be on an as-needed basis at the established unit prices and available funding.  Based on prior usage reports and information provided by the primary user, the estimated annual expenditure is $300,000.00 in the first year and $100,000.00 in the following years.

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize FDOT District Five Contract with Advanced Cabling Solutions, Inc. as indicated above in the estimated annual amount of $300,000.00 in the first year and $100,000.00 in the following years, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
