Summary:

Wastewater Division is requesting to purchase four (4) Wemco Cyclone Hydrogritters from Weir Specialty Pumps of Salt Lake City, in the amount of $101,440.00 to be installed at Iron Bridge Regional Water Reclamation Facility.

Weir Specialty Pumps is the only manufacturer and sole source for Wemco hydrogritter.

No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity.

Recommended Action:

Approval of award to Weir Specialty Pumps and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to issue a purchase order to Weir Specialty Pumps as indicated above in the estimated  amount of $101,440.00, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
