Ordinance No. 2015-21 annexing, assigning the Residential Low Intensity future land use designation, and providing for an initial zoning of R-2A for property located at 1860 Oglesby Ave, which is located west of Clay Street, east of Formosa Ave and south of Oglesby Ave (1860 Oglesby). (Economic Development)
Summary:

The attached ordinance will annex property located at 1860 Oglesby Ave, which is west of Clay Street, east of Formosa Ave and south of Oglesby Ave, and approximately 0.3234 acres in size (1860 Oglesby).  The property is currently developed with a single family house and is being annexed for future development of two residential duplexes.

The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the annexation (ANX2015-00002), the GMP amendment to assign the Residential Low Intensity future land use designation (GMP2015-00003), and the associated zoning of R-2A (ZON2015-00002) on March 17, 2015. 

The adoption ordinance is scheduled for June 15, 2015.

Recommended Action:
Approve the attached ordinance number 2015-21 on first reading and request that the Mayor and City Clerk present the draft ordinance for second reading and public hearing at the next City Council Meeting.
