Summary:
The City agreed to accept ownership of a tract of land from OHA located in the Carver Park subdivision pursuant to the Carver Court Redevelopment Agreement, dated June 23, 2004 (Agreement). The Agreement required that the tract be used as a City park and stormwater retention pond once the improvements were complete and OHA obtained a release of restrictions on the use of the land from HUD. OHA has obtained the necessary release from HUD and can now transfer ownership of the tract to the City under the terms and restrictions described in the attached Quit Claim Deed. The City’s Parks Division shall maintain the grounds and park improvements while the Streets and Stormwater Division shall maintain the retention pond. |

Fiscal & Efficiency Data:
The Parks Division and Streets & Stormwater Division may incur expenses for the maintenance of the park and pond.

Recommended Action:
Approval and authorization to accept conveyance of the park and stormwater retention pond tract and approval to record the Quit Claim Deed, substantially in the form attached, subject to review and approval of the City Attorney's office. |
