“This country will not be a good place for any of us to live in unless we make it a good place for all of us to live in.” —THEODORE ROOSEVELT

This year’s National Crime Victims' Rights Week is being held April 19-25. The theme is "Engaging Communities, Empowering Victims" and presents the opportunity to highlight the diversity of our communities, expand partnerships to serve victims of crime, enhance efforts to meet victims where they are, and empower crime victims as they pursue justice and recovery.

The Orlando Police Department works tirelessly to keep Orlando a safe city by reducing crime and maintaining livable neighborhoods.  None of this would be possible without the invaluable service of the victim services partners that we have.

Mayor Dyer will read the proclamation.

Fiscal & Efficiency Data: No costs

Recommended Action:
Mayor Dyer reads the proclamation and invites everyone down for a quick photograph.
