Local Agency Program, Citywide Sidewalks, Supplemental Agreement #2

The City entered into an agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to receive reimbursement of Federal Surface Transportation Funds for the upgrading and installation of miscellaneous sidewalks throughout the City through a Local Agency Program (LAP) agreement.  The original agreement provided for budgeted funds based on a set project scope.  Subsequently, the City has entered into contracts with both a Civil Engineering Inspection Firm, PSA Constructors, Inc. ($419,859) and a Construction Contractor, Schueller Construction ($3,166,666.00) for a total amount of $3,586,525.00.  This total is $7,645.00 less than the original LAP budget.  This LAP Supplement reduces the overall funds provided through the LAP by this $7,645.00 amount.

Fiscal & Efficiency Data: City project number CIP0014_G has been established for this project.

Recommended Action:
Authorize the Mayor, or Mayor Pro Tem, and the City Clerk to approve and execute the Local Agency Program Supplemental Agreement and the Project Resolution, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office, and as required by FDOT.
