Summary:

The following sealed bid were received in response to the subject solicitation:

The subject project will consist of replacing and improving the existing drainage collection system from S.R. 50 to the Corrine Drive intersection.  The project will also include minor improvements to the existing sanitary sewer system, replacement of the OUC water distribution system and repaving the existing roadway surface within the project boundaries.

The Procurement and Contracts Division and the Public Works Department have evaluated the submittals and recommend awarding the contract to Gibbs & Register, Inc. the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Recommended Action:

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to execute a contract with Gibbs & Register Inc., in the amount of $6,780,000.00, as indicated above, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
