Summary:
The Fleet Management Division, Solid Waste Management Division and Procurement and Contracts Division are requesting to utilize Florida Sheriff's Association Contract #14-12-0904 with Kenworth of Central Florida, of Orlando, Florida, for the purchase of one (1) 2015 Kenworth T800 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) cab and chassis truck with a Heil Dura-Pack 5000 rear loader refuse body at a total cost of $306,242.00, in accordance with the previously approved standardization of Heil refuse bodies for the City's Solid Waste Management fleet.
This CNG refuse truck is an addition to the fleet and will supplement the five (5) CNG refuse trucks currently on order, furthering the City's Sustainability Initiative.
No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity. |
