Amendment One to Mears Motor Leasing for Lease of Sixty-Six (66) Vehicles, IFB14-0172

Summary:

On March 31, 2014 City Council authorized the Chief Procurement Office to enter into an Agreement with Mears Motor Leasing to Lease of Sixty-Six (66) Vehicles.  

The Orlando Police Airport Division and the Facilities Department/Fleet Division are now requesting an Amendment to the subject contract to lease an additional twelve (12) vehicles to be used by the Orlando Police Department (OPD) Airport Division.  These vehicles will be replacements for end of lease 2012 vehicles. 

The vehicle lease term is three (3) years.  The estimated annual lease expenditure for the additional twelve (12) vehicles is $107,532.00.

Recommended Action:

Approval and authorization for the Chief Procurement Officer to execute Amendment One for the subject Agreement and sign all related documents with Mears Motor Leasing as indicated above in the estimated annual amount of $107,532.00, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
