Contract with Tampa Crane & Body, Inc. for Parts and Service for Heil Refuse Equipment (S15-0179).

Summary:
The Fleet Management Division is requesting a Contract to Tampa Crane & Body, Inc. of Tampa, Florida, for parts and service for the City's approximately sixty (60) Heil equipped refuse trucks.  Tampa Crane & Body, Inc. is the sole factory authorized representative for sales, warranty repair and parts and service for Heil refuse equipment for the Central Florida area, in accordance with the previously approved standardization of Heil refuse equipment for the City's Solid Waste Management fleet.
 
The initial Contract term is two (2) years with an option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year terms.  This is an indefinite quantity contract.  Actual expenditure will vary with usage, on an as-needed basis, at the established unit prices.  Based on prior usage reports and information provided by the primary user, the estimated annual expenditure is $200,000.00.
 
No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity.

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to enter into a contract and subsequent renewals with Tampa Crane & Body, Inc. as indicated above, in the estimated annual amount of $200,000.00, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
