2015 Workplace Giving Campaign

Summary:
The Mayor will call upon Workplace Giving Co-Chair, Jim Hunt, to provide an introduction and give a summary of the 2015 Campaign.  The 2015 Campaign was co-chaired by Deputy Chief Rob Pigman, OPD; Deputy Chief Rusty Nail, OFD; Michelle McCrimmon, Controller; and Jim Hunt, Deputy Public Works Director.

The 2015 Workplace Giving Campaign provided City employees the opportunity to contribute to several umbrella organizations or any 501(c)(3) organization of their choice.  The umbrella agencies attending Council may include:  Heart of Florida United Way; America's Charities; Community Health Charities of Florida; Independent Charities of America; Local Independent Charities of America; EarthShare; United Arts of Central Florida; Global Impact; and Neighbor to Nation.

The Mayor will present checks to attending representatives of the umbrella organizations, and will present awards to the large, mid-size and small departments having the highest dollar contributions, and those having the greatest employee participation.

Photos will be taken with the Mayor and the award/check recipients.
