Subject:Ordinance No. 2014-68 amends the future land use designation for a total of 9.88 acres of property located at the northeast and southeast corners of the intersection of Judge Road and Conway Road (Judge Meadow). (Economic Development)
Summary:

The attached ordinance amends the future land use designation for property located at the northeast and southeast corners of the intersection of Judge Road and Conway Road.  4.58 acres are amended from Community Activity Center to Industrial future land use designation and 5.3 acres are amended from Industrial to Community Activity Center future land use designation.  The subject property is approximately 9.88 acres. 

The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the GMP amendment to amend 4.58 acres from Community Activity Center to Industrial future land use designation and amend 5.3 acres from Industrial to Community Activity Center future land use designation (GMP2014-00030) on October 21, 2014.  There is an associated Planned Development (ZON2014-00023) zoning amendment for 135.7 acres as well as a Master Plan (MPL2014-00031) for 298,074 sq. ft. of industrial flex space on Phase 1 of the PD area that were approved at the October 21, 2014 Municipal Planning Board meeting.

The first reading of this ordinance was held on January 12, 2015. The PD zoning ordinance is a separate item on this City Council Agenda.

Recommended Action:Adopt the attached ordinance number 2014-68 and authorize the Major and City Clerk or Major Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City upon final review and approval by the City Attorney.
