Summary:
The attached ordinance will annex property generally located north of Daubert Street, east of Maltby Avenue, south of Roush Avenue and west of Lake Baldwin Lane and addressed as 4257 Daubert Street. The subject property is approximately +/0.46 ac. and is developed with a two story high, +/-17,317 sq. ft. warehouse building. Annexation is being requested in order for the subject site to connect to the City's wastewater system. If annexed, the property will not create an enclave.
On August 19, 2014, the Municipal Planning Board (MPB) recommended approval of the annexation (ANX2014-00011), the GMP amendment to assign Industrial future land use designation (GMP2014-00017), and designation of I-C ( Industrial-Commercial) zoning with the Aircraft Noise (/AN) overlay (ZON2014-00018).
The first reading of the annexation, GMP and initial zoning ordinance was approved on December 15, 2014. |

Recommended Action:
Adopt the attached ordinance number 2014-70 and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk or Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk to execute on behalf of the City upon final review and approval by the City Attorney. |
