One hundred seventy-five entities received notification of the invitation for bid, with three firms becoming planholders.  In addition, supplemental notification was sent to the Central Florida Officials Association.  A sealed bid was received from one firm.

The Recreation Division and Procurement and Contracts Division have evaluated the bid submittal and recommend award of a contract to Game Officials, Inc. of Kissimmee, Florida, the responsive and responsible bidder, for all items.

The initial contract term is three (3) years with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.  The estimated expenditure during the initial three (3) year term is $244,973.52.

No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity.

Recommended Action:
Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to execute a contract and subsequent renewals, with Game Officials, Inc. of Kissimmee, Florida, as indicated above, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office.
