Use of Orange County, Florida Contract #Y15-109 with Altair Environmental Group for the purchase of Traffic Calming Program, C15-0124

Summary:

The Transportation Engineering Division is requesting to utilize Orange County, Florida, Contract # Y15-109-CH, with Altair Environmental Group, LLC.  The Orange County competitively solicited bid is for the construction of Traffic Calming Program.  

The current contract term is effective to December 3, 2015 and there is the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. This is an indefinite quantity contract. Actual expenditures will vary as usage will be on an as-needed basis at the established unit prices and available funding.  Based on prior usage report and information provided by the primary user, the estimated annual expenditure is $750,000.00.

No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity.

Recommended Action:

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to utilize the Orange County, Florida Contract #Y15-109-CH Traffic Calming Program with Altair Environmental group, LLC. as indicated above, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
