2014 Addendum to the MOU Between HUD and City of Orlando

Summary:
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Office of Community Affairs and Human Relations (OCA&HR) establishes jurisdiction and guidelines for the referral of fair housing complaints between the two agencies; defines the terms and conditions of service provided by each agency to the other; and gives HUD permission to monitor and evaluate the OCA&HR's administration and enforcement of the City's fair housing law (contained in Chapter 57 of the City's Code) for continued certification.

The Addendum to the MOU between HUD and the OCA&HR is to extend the agreement for five (5) years, and update the 2008 Addendum to the MOU with any changes in operational procedures that occurred since the latest addendum was executed between the two agencies.

Fiscal & Efficiency Data: 2014 Addendum to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Orlando Office of Community Affairs and Human Relations extends the MOU for five (5) years from the date it is signed by all appropriate signatories and approved by Orlando City Council on Monday, December 15, 2014.
