| | | | | | | | | Subject: | Engagement of Specialized Litigation Counsel | | Summary: | Although the /City Attorney's Office is handling an increasing number of general litigation matters on an in-house basis, resulting in substantial savings to the City, from time to time in complex matters, the City needs to engage specialized litigation counsel. David King, and the firm of King, Blackwell, Zender & Wermuth, have ably represented the City in such matters over the years. David King is universally regarded as one of the top litigators in Central Florida. Mr. King has been recently preliminarily engaged to handle the Northbrook Church matter.
