Summary:

On July 28, 2014, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2014-2015 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development Programs, a request from Seniors First, Inc., for CDBG  funding in the amount of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars And No Cents ($150,000.00). Seniors First, Inc. will use this funding to provide housing rehabilitation and weatherization services to 30 low-income senior homeowners in Orlando, to improve the safety, security, appearance, comfort and accessibility of their homes. 
Fiscal & Efficiency Data:

PY 2014 HUD-Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) was approved on 7/28/2014 as part of the Annual Action Plan.
Recommended Action:

Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement for $150,000.00 with Seniors First, Inc. after review and approval of the documents by the City Attorney's Office.
