U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Program Year 2014 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) agreement between the City of Orlando and Ministry on South Street, 2113 E. South Street, Orlando, Florida, 32803.

Summary:
On July 28, 2014, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2014-2015 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development Programs, a request from Ministry on South Street for CDBG Public Services funding in the amount of Forty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars and No Cents ($48,800.00). Ministry on South Street will use this funding to support a five-day a week after school program (MAPS), which provides advanced academic mentoring to 25 low and moderate income students, to keep their grades at C level or above. 

Fiscal & Efficiency Data: PY 2014 HUD-Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) was approved on 7/28/2014 as part of the Annual Action Plan.

Recommended Action:
Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement for $48,800.00 with Ministry on South Street after review and approval of the documents by the City Attorney's Office.
