Amendment # 1 to Occupancy Agreement for Caretakers at Orlando Wetlands Park (Renewal)

Summary:
Richard and Deborah Clark have occupied the caretaker residence located inside the Orlando Wetlands Park for several years and provide services to the Park such as mowing some of the grounds and opening the Park gates in the morning and securing them after the Park closes.  In exchange for their services, the caretakers reside in the residence free of charge.  City staff and caretakers wish to extend the term of the agreement and provide for additional renewal options, all as set forth in the attached amendment.  The term of the agreement shall be extended through December 31, 2016 and may be renewed for up to two (2) additional terms of two (2) years each.  All other terms and conditions of the Occupancy Agreement shall remain the same.

Recommended Action:
Approval and authorization for the Mayor/Pro Tem and City Clerk to execute the Amendment, substantially in the form attached, and approval and authorization, without further City Council approval, for the Real Estate Division Manager to execute the additional renewal options referenced herein, so long as such approvals are in conformance with the terms and conditions of the Lease, all subject to the review and approval of the City Attorney's Office.
