U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Program Year 2014 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) agreement between the City of Orlando and Housing and Neighborhood Development Services of Central Florida, Inc. (HANDS), 1707 Orlando Central Parkway, Ste. 350, Orlando, Fl. 32809.

Summary:
On July 28, 2014, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2014-2015 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development programs, a request from Housing and Neighborhood Development Services of Central Florida, Inc. (HANDS) for CDBG funding in the amount of Fifty Thousand and Twenty-Five Dollars and No Cents ($50,025.00).  HANDS will use this funding to provide pre-purchase and mortgage default housing counseling to low and moderate income households in the City of Orlando.

Fiscal & Efficiency Data: PY 2014 HUD - Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) was approved on 7/28/2014 as part of the Annual Action Plan.

Recommended Action:
Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement with Housing and Neighborhood Development Services of Central Florida, Inc. (HANDS) in the amount of $50,025.00 after review of the documents by the City Attorney's office.
