Subject:The indefinite tabling of the Fourth Amendment to the Fourth Amended and Restated Development Order for the Lake Nona Development of Regional Impact (DRI). (Economic Development)
Summary:

On September 8, 2014, the hearing for the Fourth Amendment to the Fourth Amended and Restated Development Order for Lake Nona DRI was deferred to a date certain, November 3, 2014.  This deferral was to allow time for the applicant and staff to resolve issues related to the proposed conditions in the DRI Development Order as it relates to transportation mitigation payments. Discussions are ongoing, and these issues have not yet been resolved.

Therefore, staff recommends that the Development Order hearing set for November 3, 2014 be tabled indefinitely.  Once the transportation issues are resolved, staff will place this item on a future City Council agenda and advertise the Development Order Hearing again in the Orlando Sentinel.
