Ordinance Amending Chapter 18A - Parks and Outdoor Public Assemblies
Summary:
This ordinance updates Chapter 18A (Parks & Outdoor Public Assemblies) of the City Code.  It updates the code to reflect the proper names of the parks and recreational facilities, adds parks that have opened in recent years and modifies the opening and closing hours of parks and recreational facilities to reflect their current actual operating hours.  The ordinance also clarifies the provisions relating to restricted activities within City parks including those relating to tents, inflatables, signs and pets in the parks. The ordinance also exempts entities which already have a contract approved by City Council regarding park usage from the requirement to pull an outdoor public assembly permit.
Fiscal & Efficiency Data: No fiscal impact. 
Recommended Action:
The adoption of the attached ordinance number 2014-46 on second reading.
