U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Program Year 2014 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) agreement between the City of Orlando and Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Atlanta, Inc. d/b/a Clearpoint Financial Solutions, Inc.

Summary:
On July 28, 2014, City Council approved, as part of the FY 2014-2015 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development Programs, a request from Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Atlanta, Inc. formerly d/b/a CredAbility; now merged with and d/b/a Clearpoint Financial Solutions, Inc., for CDBG funding in the amount of Twelve Thousand One Hundred Forty-Two Dollars and No Cents ($12,142.00). Clearpoint Financial Solutions, Inc. will use this funding to provide Pre-Purchase and Mortgage Default Housing Counseling to low and moderate income households in the City of Orlando.

Fiscal & Efficiency Data: PY2014 HUD-Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) was approved on 7/28/2014 as part of the Annual Action Plan.

Recommended Action:
Approve and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement with Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Atlanta, Inc., d/b/a Clearpoint Financial Solutions, Inc. in the amount of $12,142.00 after review of the documents by the City Attorney's office.
