2015 Historic Preservation Calendar Photographic Image Contest Winners

Summary:

Presenting appreciation awards to the 2015 Historic Preservation Calendar Photographic Image Contest winners and recognizing McCoy Federal Credit Union for sponsoring the 2015 Historic Preservation Calendar.

Mayor Dyer will call upon Richard Forbes, Historic Preservation Officer, who will present the winning photographs and recognize the individuals selected as winners of the Historic Preservation Board 2015 Calendar Photographic Image Contest. For 2015, the calendar photographs feature Orlando’s Historic Landmarks. The McCoy Federal Credit Union is sponsoring printing and production of the 2015 Historic Preservation Calendar and photo competition. On September 8, 2014, City Council approved McCoy Federal Credit Union to fund the printing and competition costs of the City's 2015 Historic Preservation Board Calendar, estimated at $12,300, with the company's logo appearing on each calendar page.

The Mayor, along with Richard Forbes, will be handing an award certificate to the individuals listed below, and a photograph will be taken.

Recommended Action:
Presenting of winning photographs by Mr. Forbes and presenting an Appreciation Award to each of the 2015 Historic Preservation Calendar contestant winners by Mayor Dyer and extending thanks to all of the contest participants for their time and contributions to this project.
