Summary:
On June 17, 2013, the City of Orlando entered into an Employment Agreement with Tyler Chandler to serve as Executive Director of Orlando After-School All-Stars ("ASAS"). The Agreement expires on September 30, 2014.
Over the past year, the national offices of ASAS ("National") and the Orlando ASAS Board of Directors have reached agreement to broaden the scope of impact of Orlando ASAS to a statewide level. To that end, Mr. Chandler will become the ASAS State Director for Florida, based out of the Orlando chapter and continuing to oversee the day-to-day operations of Orlando ASAS. The attached Employment Agreement reflects Mr. Chandler's new title (After-School All-Stars State Director) and salary in this role. The City of Orlando will incur no additional financial obligations as a result of this arrangement. As in past Employment Agreements with Orlando ASAS Executive Director(s), the City will only be responsible for funding up to $30,000 of the total salary/benefits of this position. The Orlando ASAS non-profit, with funds it receives from the National ASAS, will reimburse the City for any and all remaining costs associate with this position. |
