2014-2015 Funding Agreements and Distribution of Funds – Arts & Cultural Organizations

Summary:

As part of the FY 2014-2015 budget process, City Council approved funding for arts and cultural organizations, which enable the City to have a vibrant community where arts and culture flourish. This request fulfills the City's mission by connecting citizens with local arts and cultural organizations and their activities, through funding support.

Approval is being requested for the funding agreements and distribution of approved funds to the agencies in the amounts specified in Exhibit A. A draft of the funding agreement is attached.

United Arts of Central Florida $427,791; OCA0003_C

Recommended Action:

Approve and authorize the Mayor/Pro-tem and City Clerk to execute the funding agreements, subject to review and approval by the Office of Legal Affairs.

NOTE: The attached agreement is a draft and is not for execution.
