The Orlando City Council approved the addition of six (6) contract positions, in support of Children and Education, at its September 8, 2014 meeting. These positions are funded via a donation from the Orlando Community & Youth Trust, Inc., existing City of Orlando seasonal budget, and contributions from the After-School All-Stars non-profit.

This item authorizes a one (1) year, full time contract with Mr. Marcus Moore to serve in one (1) of these positions, Staff Assistant/Youth Activity Coordinator. In this capacity, Mr. Moore will provide overall support for PKZ's youth development programs, including health/wellness, youth employment and operation of all of Parramore Kidz Zone's youth athletics programs serving an estimated 1,000 children per year. Mr. Moore's position is funded via a donation from from the Orlando Community & Youth Trust, Inc. and existing City of Orlando seasonal budget.
