Summary:
The Fleet Management Division, Solid Waste Management Division and Procurement and Contracts Division are requesting to utilize Florida Sheriff's Association cooperative purchasing contract #13-11-0904 with Kenworth of Central Florida, of Orlando, Florida, for the purchase of five (5) 2015 Kenworth T800 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) cab and chassis trucks with Heil Dura-Pack 5000 rear loader refuse bodies at a total cost of $1,516,870.00, in accordance with the previously approved standardization of Heil refuse bodies for the City's Solid Waste Management fleet.
These CNG refuse trucks will replace five (5) conventional rear loader refuse trucks currently in service that are scheduled for replacement.
No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity. |

Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to issue a Purchase Order to Kenworth of Central Florida as indicated above in the estimated amount of $1,516,870.00. |
