Summary:
The attached ordinance is to amend the Orlando Corporate Centre PD which is approximately 521 acres located north of Lee Vista Boulevard, south of Hoffner Avenue, east of Semoran Boulevard, and west of Narcoossee Road.
On July 15, 2014, the Municipal Planning Board approved the DRI rescission of the Orlando Corporate Centre DRI Development Order (Case #DRI2014-00002) and an amendment to the Orlando Corporate Centre PD (Case #ZON2014-00017). According to Future Land Use Policy 1.3.6, applicants wishing to rescind an adopted development of regional impact (DRI) development order, a local development order must be approved prior to or concurrent with the rescission of the DRI development order. This PD amendment will serve as the local development order which will replace the DRI development order.
The PD amendment will incorporate some of the conditions of the DRI and retain some of the current PD conditions. It will also change land uses in the development plan for Parcels 3A and 3C from “Office” to “Office/Multifamily” and Parcel 13 from “Office” to “Business Park”. It also adds multi-family residential design standards to the PD development.
The City Council approved the first reading of this ordinance on September 8, 2014. The DRI rescission appears as a separate item on this Council Agenda. |
