Ordinance No. 2014-45 assigns the initial zoning of Planned Development with Aircraft Noise overlay (PD/AN) to property at 6621 Narcoossee Road, which is located north of Lee Vista Road on the east side of Narcoossee Road (6621 Narcoossee Road). (Economic Development)
Summary:

Ordinance No. 2014-45 will assign the initial zoning to property undergoing annexation at 6621 Narcoossee Road, which is located north of Lee Vista Road on the east side of Narcoossee Road and is approximately 4.091 acres.  Planned Development zoning with Aircraft Noise overlay (PD/AN) is being requested in order to develop a non-residential development of up to 44,550 sq. ft. 

The Municipal Planning Board recommended approval of the annexation (ANX2014-00010) the GMP amendment to assign Airport Support District Medium Intensity future land use designation (GMP2014-00015) and the initial zoning of PD/AN (ZON2014-00016) on July 15, 2014. 

The adoption ordinance for the initial zoning is scheduled for October 20, 2014. The annexation and GMP ordinance (Ordinance No. 2014-44) will be included as a separate item on the same City Council Agenda.

Recommended Action:
Approve the attached ordinance number 2014-45 on first reading and request that the Mayor and City Clerk present the draft ordinance for second reading and public hearing at the next City Council Meeting.
