Summary:
Minor fee adjustments are proposed for Lake Eola Park and The Eola House (see details attached). To date, rental rates at Lake Eola Park have been the same as those at all other City parks. Due to Lake Eola's location and status as the City's signature park, the park experiences overwhelming demand, often more than can be accommodated. Rather than charging the same rates at Lake Eola Park as those at other City of Orlando parks, rental rates at the site should reflect comparable pricing for other premium parks in Central Florida. The rates for signature parks in Orange County, Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, and Maitland were obtained for comparison and the proposed new rates at Lake Eola are on the lower end of those fees.
