Subject:
Parking Agreement between Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. and the City of Orlando regarding Administration Center Garage and Magnolia Avenue

Summary:
The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Inc., "DPC", intends to utilize up to 260 parking spaces in the City's Administration Center Parking Garage, "Garage", located at 300 Liberty Street, for employee and performer parking.  DPC also intends to utilize the on-street parking spaces located on Magnolia Avenue, south of Anderson Street for valet parking (including accessible parking) in conjunction with performances at the Performing Arts Center, "Center."  The City has determined that the requested spaces are available and DPC has agreed to pay for them on a monthly basis as described in the attached Agreement.  In addition, DPC has agreed to charge a discounted rate to patrons of the Center for valet services for those in need of handicapped accessible parking.  

Fiscal & Efficiency Data: Rental charges for use of the spaces will be deposited into Fund 4132 Parking System Revenue.

Recommended Action:
Approval of the attached Parking Agreement and authorization for the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to execute same, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney's Office.
