Utilization of The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN) Contract with William Scotsman for the Installation and Rental of an All-Inclusive Modular Building for Fire Station Two, C14-0408

Summary:

The City of Orlando Fire Department, Fleet and Facilities Division, Public Works Department and the Procurement and Contracts Division request to utilize The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN) Contract Number R-5071 with William Scotsman of Baltimore, Maryland (through the Tampa, Florida office) for the installation and rental of one (1) pre-fabricated, ADA compliant, modular building. 

This building will house Fire Station Two while the new, permanent building is under construction. The existing structure currently housing Fire Station Two must be demolished, thereby necessitating this purchase to ensure the safety and welfare of the citizens of Orlando.

No City Certified M/WBE suppliers are registered for this commodity.

Recommended Action:
Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to issue a Purchase Order to William Scotsman utilizing the TCPN contract as indicated above, following the review and approval of the City Attorney’s office, for $150,302.00.
