DAD / CityArts Funding Agreement
Summary:
Our agreement between DAD/CityArts Factory, and the Community Redevelopment Agency expired on October 30, 2013.  Funding  will run concurrently with the sublease between CityArts Factory and the City of Orlando.   

The CRA Advisory Board recommended approval to the CRA of the agreement for the period of October 1, 2014 to November 30, 2016 for up to a total amount of $624,000.

Recommended Action:
Staff  recommends the CRA approve the renewal of the agreement for a period of October 1, 2014 to November 30, 2016 for up to a total amount of $288,000 for FY 14/15, $288,000 for FY 15/16 and $48,000 for FY 16/17 and authorization of expenditures from the Downtown Orlando Community Redevelopment Area Trust Fund of up to $624,000 for such project, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney’s Office, and authorize execution of the Agreement by the Chairman and Executive Director.
