Summary:

On December 19, 2012 City Council authorized negotiations for Continuing Architectural Professional Services, RFQ12-0074PW, with KZF Design LLC, dba KZF Design Studio. The term of the contract is for a period of two (2) years from the date of execution on January 9, 2013 with a renewal option to extend the contract for one (1) additional year.

The City of Orlando requires services of KZF Design Studio for Architectural Professional Services for the City Hall Roof Replacement Project in the amount of $134,697.00.

KZF Design Studio has proposed to use the following M/WBE subcontractors for this project:

Base Consultants, Inc. WBE 4.80%
Cost Management, Inc. dba CMI MBE 8.56%
Milan Engineering MBE 14.77%
One Sourcing Roofing WBE 2.30%
Total M/WBE Participation 30.43%

Recommended Action:
Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to execute the Service Authorization for $134,697.00 for the City Hall Roof Replacement Project, subject to the review and approval of the City Attorney's Office.
