The barscreens are designed to remove debris from the influent wastewater stream to protect all downstream equipment. The screens are the original screens of the facility dating back to the 1980’s, are now failing on a daily basis and are in imminent danger of catastrophic failure. Immediate replacement is required to prevent potential failure of downstream equipment and to prevent overflows of untreated wastewater. Three quotes were obtained and Huber Technology, Inc. has the lowest quote. The amount of the purchase is $459,722.00.
